Alison Bromley BA MSc DForenPsy

Alison Graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. She has since completed an MSc in Psychological Research, an MSc in Forensic Psychology and a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology. Alison is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Alison has extensive experience of working with adult female and male offenders, and adolescents with challenging behaviour within a range of criminal justice, health, and community settings across all levels of security. Alison has specific experience of working with offenders with Personality Disorder and is currently Principal Psychologist in an enhanced medium secure service for women. Alison has experience in the assessment and formulation of clients and is trained and well-practised in a wide variety of structured risk assessment tools, as well as being proficient in the selection, use and interpretation of psychometric assessment measures. Alison also has experience in offering treatments to offenders with complex presentations, and has advanced level training in a range of therapeutic interventions including Schema Therapy and Mentalization Based Therapy.
