Emma has worked in a forensic setting for over twenty years with the past sixteen working for Her Majesty's Prison service. During this time Emma was awarded an MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology and gained substantial experience in the delivery, supervision and treatment management of accredited offending behaviour programmes. More recently, Emma has focused on providing Clinical oversight for these programmes as well as compiling risk assessments for the Parole Board.
Emma has experience working with men who have committed sexual offences, violence against other males and those who are perpetrated violence within intimate relationships. Emma has also had experience of working with male young offenders.
Emma has experience of using risk assessment tools with all the above types of offenders as well as those tools identifying personality disorders and those assessing risk of future extremist linked offending.
Emma is a registered practitioner with the Health Care Professional Council and a full member of the British Psychological Society and Division of Forensic Psychology.
