Jude graduated from Queens' University Belfast in 2009 with a BSc in Psychology. She was awarded a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology with distinction at University of Leicester, before completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Practitioner Forensic Psychology through Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Jude completed her training in HM Prison and Probation Service and a secure forensic mental health unit, working with males and females across the lifespan, with a particular focus on violent and sexual offending. In the past number of years she has since developed her knowledge and skills working with individuals who have an intellectual disability and a forensic history, often with co-morbid mental health and trauma presentations. Currently, Jude works in a trauma service providing psychological assessment, formulation and therapy. She has a particular professional interest in the impact of developmental and complex trauma on cognitive and neurological processes, and later offending behaviours.
