Leroy is an experienced dual-qualified, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered, Clinical & Forensic Psychologist. He has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Criminology, an MSc in Criminological Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Leroy has extensive experience in working with adults and young people's offending behaviours. He previously worked with male adults and adolescents in the Prison Service and with adult males and females in a high-secure mental health hospital. Leroy has also worked for a registered child protection charity which works across the UK to prevent child sexual abuse. He is currently working with male and female adolescents in a medium-secure forensic hospital.
Leroy has experience in utilising a range of psychometrics and risk assessment tools relating to violence, sexual violence and mental health. Leroy has a history of undertaking complicated mental health and risk assessments for the Criminal and Family Courts as well as for Local Authorities, Probation and Youth Offending Services.
