Dr Sara Schamborg BSc (Hons) DForenPsy MBPsS C.Psychol

Sara completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She subsequently completed a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology at the University of Nottingham. Sara is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Sara has extensive experience of working with adults who have complex needs and difficulties, particularly those in forensic services. She has worked in a range of community forensic services and secure settings. Sara is currently working for Turning Point, an organisation that offers support and treatment for those with difficulties relating to substance misuse. Sara has a particular interest in the assessment and formulation of clients, including risk assessments and formulations, as well as delivering treatment, particularly using a Schema Therapy (ST) or Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT) approach.
