Sarah completed her Doctorate in Forensic Psychology at the University of Nottingham. She is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Sarah has significant experience in the psychological assessment of individuals in the context of Family Proceedings and has previously worked in two forensic medium secure mental health settings, with both male and female offenders. Sarah is skilled in the administration and interpretation of numerous forensic risk assessment tools and has experience of giving evidence as an expert witness in the Family Court and at parole hearings. She has also presented oral evidence at CPA meetings and at Mental Health Review Tribunals.
Sarah has significant experience in the assessment of individuals with complex needs, including mental illness, personality disorder and psychopathy. Her main clinical and research interests are in the area of attachment style, personality disorder and their relationship to family dysfunction and offending behaviour.
