Susannah Hughes

Susannah graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2010 with a degree in Psychology. She went on to complete a MSc in Criminological Psychology, a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with University College London (UCL). Susannah is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society.

During her career as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, Susannah has gained extensive experience working in a variety of settings (high and medium secure hospitals, police, and the probation service) with diverse populations (females, males, learning disabilities, autism, mental illness, and personality disorder).

Susannah has experience conducting a wide variety of structured risk assessment tools and therapeutic interventions. Susannah has experience in offering treatments to offenders with complex presentations and has provisional BABCP accreditation (CBT practitioner). Susannah is currently working in a medium secure setting for admissions, assessment, and treatment.

Susannah has experience of delivering teaching and training to psychologist and non-psychologist colleagues and has provided clinical supervision to assistant and trainee psychologists.
